Blackberry Ginger Sauce

Sauces elevate any dish. Use this sauce all summer long on grilled meats, roasted veggies or anytime you want to add a bit of freshness to your meal.

Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients

1 (6 oz) container fresh blackberries (or frozen)
3 Tbsp. sugar (as needed to taste)
2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1 Tbsp. Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Honey

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan combine blackberries, sugar, ginger, and vinegar.
  2. Crush berries with a potato masher and bring to a boil. Simmer for approx. 7-10 minutes or until a sauce consistency is obtained.
  3. Add honey if desired. (Honey will give the sauce a more brilliant sheen and slight honey flavor.)
